Professional education programs (Full Programs) comprise a minimum of 600 hours, including in-person courses, individual studies, internships, and final exams.

Basic training programs (Human-Dog-Teams for schools, pedagogy, therapy, AAI/AAS visits,…) comprise at least 125 hours in theoretical and practical courses of the Human-Dog-Team-Training as well as individual studies.

Basic qualification other species AAI/AAS include at least 125 hours in theoretical and practical basic courses of Animal Assisted Interventions/Services with other species than dogs as well as individual studies.

Pioneer Start Up Project: For a limited period, ISAAT accredits animal species-specific curricula for the basic qualification of persons to involve different animals in animal-assisted interventions (AAI), if professional AAI and special trainings/courses are not popular or implied yet in their country (Pioneer Work). With this Accreditation part the institutions / organizations are not getting a regular ISAAT member!
